Buis les Baronnies
Buis les Baronnies, center of its canton, is a typical example of a rich-in-history land : its market place with 15th-century arches, the 1594 Dominican Convent and the 1690 old Roman bridge. Keep note that the Saint Julien rock is illuminated the first Saturday following the Ascension Day. Don’t miss the “Parfum de Jazz” festival which takes place mid-August, nor the International Linden Fair on the first Wednesday of July.
Grignan
The Grignan castle is well-known as the largest Renaissance castle in South-East of France. It became, in the 17th century, one of the most beautiful historical monument in France. It hosted in particular Mrs de Sévigné and her daughter, the Grignan Countess.
The night markets
Take the opportunity of evenings to visit night markets in the area. The one in Buis-les-Baronnies takes place every Friday from 6 PM to 10 PM. On Fridays : Sainte Jalle. On Saturdays : Mollans-sur-Ouvèze, Saint Auban-sur-Ouvèze.
Oenological Tours
Traditionally, wine has always been produced in Buis area. The Baronnies hill are well appreciated and you will be able to discover many wine producers and wine cellars around Rochebrune, Sainte-Jalle, Buis-les-Baronnies.
Flea markets
A lot of flea markets stand in the Drôme Provençal, especially in Buis-les-Baronnies, Jonquières (on Saturdays and Sundays), Mornas (on Sundays), Carpentras (on Sundays afternoon), and Roussas (on Sundays).

The Drôme Provençal is well known for its many market in which you can discover all the regional specialties and fresh products. On Mondays : Bédoin, Bollène, Tulette, la Motte-Chalançon. On Tuesdays : Vaison-la-Romaine and Grignan. On Wednesdays : Buis-les-Baronnies, Malaucène, Valréas, Rémuzat. On Thursdays : Nyons, Orange. On Fridays : Mirabel-aux-Baronnies, Taulignan, Carpentras, Dieulefit. On Saturdays : Buis (small producers markets). Montbrun-les-Bains. On Sundays : Nyons (from June to September), Séderon.
Pierrelongue
In this village, there are sacred art museum and the “Notre Dame de la Consolation” church built on a rocky peak. Numerous pedestrian or equestrian hiking will allow you to explore charming villages in the whole Drôme Provençal.
The Botanical Center
In Buis-les-Baronnies, the Botanical Center celebrates the regional nature. You will be able to observe, smell, taste, learn how to identify aromatic herbs and discover their properties, lore, and how they are used for cooking.
Vaison La Romaine
Vaison La Romaine is an essential step in your trip through the Haut-Vaucluse and the Provence of the Popes. You will discover unique archeological sites and remarkable medieval heritage. Avignon

Orange

Aulan
Aulan, a small village located between the Buc and Ubac mountains, has its own castle as well as a 12th century church.
Mollans sur Ouvèze
Discover the typical appeal of this Baronnies Provençales village : its Dolphins fountain, its old oil mill and its 18th century Chapel. Two feudal castles overhang the town.
